MES offers a range of engaging afterschool programs designed to nurture the intellectual, emotional, and social well-being of learners:
• Academic Support and Safe Space: The high school youth program provides a homework centre with academic support and a safe space for afternoons. Students can access computers for school projects, participate in various activities, and receive nutritious meals.
• Life Skills and Mentorship: MES goes beyond academics, offering programs focused on spiritual development, life skills, and recreation. Dedicated mentors provide valuable guidance and support.
• Dance4aPurpose: Bringing joy and purpose, our inner-city youth program offers professional dance coaching. Participants showcase their talents in competitions and an annual musical production.
• Camps and Events: providing a variety of enriching camps and events throughout the year. These include holiday programs, “10 Days of Hope” outreach initiatives, and high school/grade 7 learner camps. These camps focus on academic preparation, high school readiness, and identity exploration.
